mmmm.....I have been writing up the story of Lemon Martini for someone and I need to get cracking on that and write up more. So maybe once I am done reading Host Club 13 I'll work on that and then work out my script for Citrus Orange. :D
I also need to call my mom....;3; She is checking out a Macbook for me and I need to discuss with her the possibility of my return plans. Gah.

Some work on Citrus Orange would be nice. I need to do some character fleshing~ I have a few characters I need to work on more--they hardly have first names. XD; I know their personalities and stuff but they don't have names? WTF. So ridic.

Sleep just didn't happen last night....Like, at all. I went to bed late, feeling groggy. I can't fall asleep. 3:00, 4:00, 5:00AM--nothing. I think I finally dozed off around 7:00AM but then was woken up quiet brutally by a hyper kitten wanting some cuddles. 0_0 *pets her*
so I am curled up in bed and my alarm goes off "Hey, I'm Jimmy, a teenage detective in a kids body, go figure that one out--"
So I had to get up because I was waiting for my package to be delivered. T_T I curled up in the blankets, and watched CLAMP School Detectives for 40 minutes before the FedEx delivery guy comes around 9:10AM.
There were so many dvds they needed two packages. XD I was very pleased.
I opened them up and put the dvds in their place on the "Conan shelf" and I have to say, as excited as I am to watch them all--actually Seeing them is rather intimidating. o_o; I completed the Meitantei Conan movie collection. I have 1-13 of the theatrical movies. *cheers*
And a bazillion "specials" with 6 episodes on each disc. [each of these dvds says "Great deal"--awesome]
Not to mention I have the Conan Vs. Lupin special now...XD Gah so much to watch.
Normally when I get Conan dvds it's like, 2-3 at once. The last time I got to many at once was when I was FIRST getting into the series and I bought seasons 2-6 and watched them in literally one sitting. [4 day Conan binge, fun times]
A lot of my friends have asked me "So are you watching Conan right now?"
You all may be surprised to hear this but--I AM NOT. o_o;
I know, I know, I am as shocked as you are....but let me explain~
Around 11:00AM I decided to try and take a nap [after I took a shower to see if that would relax me] I set my alarm for 1:30PM so that I wouldn't sleep All day but would just get enough for a power nap so I could function.
My mother called me around 12:30. [don't really remember a lot about that conversation]
Next thing I know I am waking up at 3:00PM [on the dot] with my phone on my pillow.
God dammit. x_x I think I turned it off in my sleep. I can't even remember the last time I did that....
But yeah, anyway, spent the rest of the day cleaning the kitchen and such basically. =3=

Also I decided Not to watch *any* Conan until I have finished INVU volume 5 and Host Club volume 13. [Bwahaha--procrastinate no more!!]
I was sitting on my bed with the computer propped up on my knees, I decided to put INVU on my night stand so I could just grab it and read it without having to sit at my desk to read it.
Jider-Bunny leaps up on my bedstand in one flying leap of glory, knocks the book down and manages to tear the cover. x_x;
It's a small tear--honestly, you probably wouldn't even notice it unless you were REALLY looking for it, but..even so. I take pride in trying to keep my books [especially manga] in excellent condition. So as you can imagine this did Not set well with me.
I muttered under my breath, annoyed, for a good minute or two--moving the book to the bed with me so it couldn't suffer any More damage--when Jider waddles up to me and tries to crawl up on my chest.
I pushed her away [lightly] saying To her: "No, I'm angry with you" but she was insistent and before I knew it, the little dear was curled up on my boobs purring into my ear~ *u*
I can't stay mad at her.... XD; she's too cute. It wasn't like she Meant to do it either but baaahhh....*snuggles*
They're both the sweetest things. :) Seriously, even when they piss me off, I can't help but love them more. XD <3

I seriously Love INVU. :D [been reading a Lot of Manhwa recently...]
More than anything I love the main characters best friend~ She's this little Otaku-comic artist girl who is in love with this baker named Simon. <3

The comic girl is super into drawing Boy love comics and finds this Simon dude to be her Muse. So while she likes him, she draws him in a lot of...erm...questionable positions with other men. XD
Anyway~ one day, she knocks over her bag--all her [gay]comics pages go splashing out all over the floor and Simon sees them. [the ones he was being the model for no less]
And artist chick like: febfjrbfvrehefbhefbhuebfijefjr *runs away*
In volume five, the most recent volume released in the states--Simon confronts her about her drawings, basically saying he's flattered and finds her to be his muse too--and how he wants her to continue coming to the shop to help him bake. <3
But then at the end, when he's leaving to go back to the Bakery, he turns over his shoulder and says: "By the way, could you possibly put a beard on my boyfriend? I like that kind of thing"
*bursts into hysterical laughter* XD I just about died *arm flaps*

Anyway yeah--I guess I like her cause I can relate with her a little bit in a strange, strange way.... XD;
I like a lot of malexmale couples in my fandoms, THEIFSHIPPING--but I can't say I really physically Draw too many physical boy love scenes....[Citrus Orange has an undertone of BL however]
I dunno, I just like her and her character.... XDD
And Simon--PFFFTT--the name is cursed to be that of extremely femy men. [at least in the comics world]
My Simon in LM is pretty femy too but he likes girls and I don't think he's into body hair...
Is this a possible turning point in the series!?!?!! Does Simon like the artist girl!? Or maybe....because of his beard comment he secretly..... >>; .......that'd be interesting. o_o;

I still have Host Club to read, but my dad is taking me out for Mexican food in about 30 minutes and because of my dads lack of conversation ability when we go out, I'll just read while I wait for my food..... =_=

My dad said back when I made him watch Detective Conan: Phantom of Baker Street that he'd like to watch some more Conan. SO! Now that I have the 13th movie [Raven Chaser]in my possession and have ranked it as blowing ALL the other previous Conan movies out of the water--I think this is the one he should watch. :D
So I'll be asking him about that when he gets home~ <3

CLAMP Campus Detectives in Japanese is like 100x better in Japanese then English. x_x
Last time I watched CLAMP School that I can recall was when I was watching it in English when the dvd-version came out.
I have watched CCD 40+ times complete through and at this point it's not hard for me to do--in English however---I can hardly get through 3 episodes without getting a headache from hell and wanting to bash my head against a fcuking wall.
Such a blast from the past~ I talk about this show O-so much--but man I cannot get over it. It's Such a part of me...it will Never go away. XD

I have a folder which I keep all my images in. [while, techniqually I have a separate file for artists I like in which they have their own folders--but that's beside the point] I normally will save an image to my desktop and then later, once I am done observing the picture as much as I need to/am able to waste time on it--I pull it up into the "My Pictures" bin and that is that. Since I don't organize that thing, the chances of me being able to Easily find the picture I want [fuck you Vista] becomes disgustingly difficult. x0x;
I normally use my photobucket account for uploading images I want to show people and for images I want to put on my LJ or something--today neither of these were the case.
I have had this picture of Lelouch on my desktop for a good few days now. I keep clicking on it to drag it into the depths of my art folder but keep stopping myself because it is So ridiculous.

So someone on my buddy list asked me the other night about having a Muse. Which made me curious about others muses. Do You have a muse? Tell me about it. <3
I find that a true "muse" is different from just everyday inspiration. For example, a lot of the time reading my favorite comics or listening to my favorite music will inspire me, but it's not usually the muse that lights by undying desire to create, you know?
Sometimes when I'm down about something that particular song, manga artist, movie...just..doesn't do the trick. So what does? [not that a 'muse' can be effective 100% of the time]
...I've noticed for me, what usually puts me in a super mood is putting my OC's in a terrible position or just in general using them to have fun in a non-canon setting. o_o;
Yeah, it probably won't work forever. I mean if I had a job where I was drawing my OC's 24/7, drawing them anymore would probably make me Groan just thinking about them!! But for the time being, it's nice and fun for me~

As I stated, I am in the early stages of teaching my adorable little kitties how to use the toilet. No more cat litter, no more nasty stink and finally, they can be house cats without ANY complaint from anyone whom I am living with~ Seriously, just need to remember to keep the bathroom door and no close the lid on the toilet. <3
....I have done a Bunch of research on the topic of toilet training cats. It's doable. Very doable and actually easier than most people seem to think. o_o;

So as I mentioned a post or two ago, I bought the first four volumes of this Manhwa series called "very very Sweet". I read through the first volume was tempted to be disappointed. It wasn't what I was expecting..... But of course, once again, my rule of "Give it 2-3 books to get good" payed off in the end and now I am really enjoying the series. :)

My main one seems to be Detective Conan [I doubt that comes as any serious surprise to anyone *points at her LJ icons*] but seriously, I like So many anime/manga. :/ Host club, Kuroshitsuji, Bakuman, anything by Yawzawa, Junjou romantica, Berserk, Sailor Moon, Prince of Tennis, Spiral, Rose of Versailles, Genshiken, Gokusen, Gals, Gundam Wing, YGO, YYH, GALS, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Code Geass, Lucky Star, Naru Taru, Giant Robo, Loveless, Fruits Basket....etc. O_O; That's just the short hand list. =_=
It sucks, because once I get into a series, I try and get in the community and stuff [which is a terrible idea depending on the series and the fanbase] and man....it's so hard to keep up with everything at the end of the day....then I want to spend ungodly amounts of money on merchandise and then if I do I get into another series and am like, "Fuck, I should have spent that money on xxx" Truly terrible.
I know I'm materialistic but I like my anime/manga and I like my fandoms. :/ Deal with it.
My mind has been trying to get me back in the YGO fandom and my god......I am not sure if that would be healthy for anyone....especially me. XDD
We'll see....if I *do* end up going back to that fucking fandom with extreme vengeance, I'll do my best to keep it off LJ.... XD;

So--When I was drawing earlier, I was going over my boys in Lemon Martini and I find it very strange that while I personally prefer the clean-cut, short hair on my men--Most of my LM-boys have the clean-cut long haired look....o_o; Interesting.
Most of my girls have shorter hair than the boys.... XDDD
Also another odd fact, my girls have more saucy-bitch personalities while my boys are just kinda like "okay, whatever".

You know what's a series I should seriously invest in and get more into the fandom of? Sailor Moon.
I love Sailor Moon. I grew up on that series. I even read those chapter books they made out of it in like, 2nd grade. xD I even collected all the manga of it back in the day.
I was never *not* a fan of Sailor Moon but I never tried to buy the anime or anything, and now I am thinking I would like to.
When I get money I think I would like one of my first bigger purchases will be the Sailor Moon anime~ :)
When I go to Uwajiamaya in December with some buddies my plan is to buy the Japanese releases of the manga to complete my collection. *u*
I only have volume one in Japanese so far....D; *tears*
I really want to reread the manga.....<3

Mixx comics were just Not meant to last. :/ Granted back int he day when I was buying Mixx-comic-versions of Sailor Moon, I didn't take the Greatest care of my books--so I always assumed it was just me.
However, my Saint Tail comics, [which, May I add are in great condition] feel like they're falling apart as well. D:
I looked on amazon dot come this afternoon to discover that the first English volume of the Sailor Moon manga is running for roughly twenty dollars. Insanity.
I guess since it's not exactly "on the market" right now, that would make it more valuable. But I doubt it's worth $20 considering the poor binding and whatever. :/

Bleh, TP, you're a fuck up as far as financial situations right now and an even bigger fuck up when it comes to American comic makers [at least from what I've heard] but as far as your merchandise go, you've really one upped yourself from silly old Mixx.

I wonder if TokyoPop will ever re-release the Sailor Moon manga....:/
They did with Cardcaptor Sakura....from what I can tell, Sailor Moon manga [in english] is in high demand. Maybe there's some bigger issue in there that I am not aware of. *shrugs*

I can't take out loans because my brother fucked up his first semester of college so that means I have to take one class at a time so that my parents can keep up and be able to pay for the classes to make sure I can "prove" I can handle it. [WTF I'm the GOOD kid, remember?--Jon's the fucking dumbass who always fucks stuff up, not me!!]
I appreciate the thought and all but taking one class a term....? I understand starting slow but that's a little TOO slow. I was thinking of going into being an X-Ray tech which is an 18 month program.
My original plan was to start slow, so that maybe it would take 2-3 years tops. But with one, maybe Two classes a term......? It'll take like 8 years. x-x; Seriously, at that rate I won't give a crap anymore.
I will be talking to my parents more about this later, after I get my Mac and can see if I can make something happen on the art front~ *crosses fingers*

I got a new phone today! :D Seriously it is about time, my old phone didn't even have a camera on it if you can believe it. That's how long it's been since I've upgraded my phone. But I love this thing. *_* It's my baby~

My dad bought 2 bags of cat food instead of the one bag he owed me. :D GOAL. Now the cats have 3 FULL bags of food to last them the rest of this month. XD I think they'll be okay. <3
My mom randomly bought them a bag too....which I didn't ask for. She also bought me some rice crispy cereal since I mentioned how my dad seemed to forget to buy it. :/ Random. But very thoughtful---my mom wasn't a complete crazy bitch when I saw her over the weekend. o_o; Insanity. But a good thing so, can't complain. ^^

As I believe I mentioned in my previous post, I have made a fair amount of progress writing up the rough draft version script for the first volume of Citrus Orange. :)
And by rough, I mean Very rough. Nothing is certain, very little paneling has been planned out and a lot of the dialogue is loose and choppy. Also not all the "main" characters even have names. *sigh*
But it is very nice to get something done with this. This is so very different from how I work out LM and I have to say it's kind of a breath of fresh air to be able to write something differently and have everything pretty much so forward and straight up. :3
Lemon Martini is kinda all over the place and a little harder to plan, also a lot more subtle in many areas. :/
I am still trying to figure out the Exact story behind the play they need to put on, but I think I have some rough ideas to help figure out what needs/doesn't need to be done etc. >3<
I should stop being so lazy and draw up the actual character designs instead of just doodling....Pffftttt... Soon. :D

So most of the Detective Conan Dvd's I ordered are ready to be shipped! :O

I'm getting a Mac~ At least that is the plan. Since it's aimed as an educational 'tool' my parents are both willing to pitch in to get me something good that will last~ :D I am very excited. I have had PC's and I have used Macs a bit before. I have good and bad experiences with both....^^; Please no PC/Mac wars.

So I finally got around to buying this Manhwa I have seen in Borders for months now. It's called Very Very "Sweet" and has the cutest art ever. xD
I have the first 4 volumes and am going to use it as more of a procrastination device to not work on NaNoWriMo. *fail*
One of the reasons I was curious about it was because I have read one or two titles by YenPress and I wanted a more varied idea of what kind of stories they're looking for and...well, I think I can do it. o_o; I think I have 1-2 stories that fit the criteria so if I can finish up this f-ing summary, I can submit it and see where that goes~<3

So from what I've heard, book covers/spines are very important when making a book. It needs to be able to attract an audience. You can have the greatest book ever but it won't mean anything if nobody even attempts to read your book.... :/
I know this is like, ridiculously early to be thinking of such things but I was thinking if I ever did Lemon Martini I'd want a theme to my book covers. Cause I kind of assigned them all "colors". Really nothing to do with the story too much but just something over time fell into place. So I was thinking of doing something with said colors in on cover~
However, people just standing there is a little boring so if I can help it, I'd like to draw and find a theme that be a little more "interesting". [you know, the kind of covers where you wonder what the next books cover is going to be? That kind of deal]
But at the same time, I wouldn't want something TOO over the top and misleading to the story itself. >< BLAH. I don't know~
Maybe I'll look at other covers of stuff to get inspiration? Good idea. <3
But ideas are appreciated. *0* Even if they're like "cooking themed" or "Vegas themed". :) Who knows, anything could spark an idea.

Turned out to be a better Friday night then originally expected. One I go to come into Eugene for the evening and be at my moms house, which is always...interesting, to say the least. 0_0; But I also got to have one of my best buddies ever, Kat, over for a sleep over! *snuggles her* I hardly ever get to see her so this is nice~<3
Since my mom, stepdad and dad were going out to dinner, they gave Kat and me money to go out ourselves. :9 Which was simply amazing~ :)
So in comparison to last nights post of random BLEH!! I think you'll find this one to be rather relaxing, and blissful in comparison. :D

I was talking to my mom, kinda Ugh-ing about my computers up-most failure in the photoshop department, making the $200 she spend on my Bamboo Tablet a complete waste of money--she offered to buy me a new computer. o_o; [I was even ASKING her, I was just venting cause she asked me about the tablet and how I was liking it]
She apparently is buying my brother this $300 computer for "school" and stuff, so she said if I could find one in the same boat, then she'd jump and me one. *flails with happiness* My computer is *seriously* having some issues right now so this is just a blessing....*hearts*
I found one that is really good and will probably last me a long time for $500 [on sale]. But my mom is super hesitant about it. :/
However, I *did* remind her that mine isn't just for dinking around online and chatting on AIM/MSN this is for a more academic pursuit. Art/Comics etc. Which considering my lack of wanting to go to college right now, this would be good for me and she knows it...
I did a bunch of research tonight and am going to really SELL the point home tomorrow morning and hope for the best~ *crosses fingers*
